Arguably, I think some of our social "problems" are fictional! We often embark on looking for solutions to problems that don't really exist. For example, in moments when our self-esteem is at its lowest, we might not necessarily recognize that we are unable to pursue our desires because of low self-esteem, but rather another problem we come up with that is related to some of our insecurities. 'You are not necessarily ugly, or dumb, you just have low self-esteem in this moment.'
