Some people are like Joshua.
(Now before you think about Jericho and it's crubl(ed) walls, think again!
The joshua that I am referring to is a character from (the late) Ngūgi Wa Thiongò's, THE RIVER BETWEEN, who, after converting to Christianity (Joshua, the character, not Ngūgi) decided that all the traditional beliefs should be abolished, banned and made illegal (and in this case, the writer considered female circumcision (more like FGM, but who am I to reject the example that was given in the book?)

Despite Joshua's attempts to fully "lead" his family towards the "light" of the new religion, not everyone was truly convinced that it was the correct path to take, a case in point, his own daughter, who went behind his back and went for "circumcision" in order to "become a woman" as per tradition.

Now, Joshua tried all his best but unfortunately, he couldn't convince his own daughter to follow "the light" , which brings me to ask the questions :

1. If(or when) you've "found the light", is it compulsory that everyone must also follow you to the light(without asking any questions?

2. Must you hate( bind and castrate) whatever it is that you believed in before you found the light?

3. Do you have even the slightest idea that YOU CAN NEVER SAVE EVERYONE? (I mean, think about it, if at all everyone's to get saved, and lead by example, then where will you get the motivation NOT to be like the "other people of the darkness"

4. Do you know that for light to exist, there MUST be darkness, otherwise, what's a hero without a villain, huh?

5. Have you ever considered MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS?
(I hear it's been a lucrative trade since the days of creation and (after) the big bang!

6. Do you think that you can have all your appendages in all the cakes availed to you, on the dinning table?

7. Did you know that, if you were (supposedly) colonised by other colonial masters, other than the ones that you now know, you'd adopt

...and adapt to their ways ?

Why do you go ahead and make some people feel insignificant just because they have failed to recite a part of a certain book that was written many years ago?

Can you recite Shakespeare?
Can you discuss any of the Machiavelli's works?
Are you good at art?

So you know that the universe ALWAYS FINDS BALANCE, whether you like it or not?

Do you know that you're free to follow your religion or whatever the KF your religion tells you to but I have a right to tell you to KF OFF if you try to impose all that on me?

Do you have any idea that there's nobody who's useless, He'll! At least they can be used as an example of useless person!
