Some people struggle with the fact that if someone is above you in a hierarchy and you depend on them, they get to make decisions. Whether you understand them or not. Their authority is the reason. That’s it.
That’s the same issue many people have with God.
It’s not that they don’t believe He exists… it’s that their minds can’t handle the idea of authority and submission. They want to question everyone, demand explanations, and act like they can hold anyone and anything “accountable,” while standing right at the bottom of the ladder 😂.
Some even convince themselves God doesn’t exist simply because admitting it would mean accepting that they have no absolute power.
Rebellion looks brave until you realise it’s just fear masked.
The irony is that rebels always see authority as way more extreme than the people who actually submit to it.
They imagine authority to be harsh, controlling, suffocating… while the ones who submit are experiencing grace, patience, and peace.
