I might be wrong, but doesn’t the sovereignty bill, in a way, end up putting someone at risk over like dual citizenship which is actually granted by the same government under the Uganda Citizenship and Immigration Control Act?
Because if the bill punishes actions linked to “foreign interests,” doesn’t that make it easier for people with dual citizenship to be suspected or misunderstood, even when their status is legal?
