I have come to accept that most of us know what we want to do and will do it anyway without considering any of the advice, suggestions or the opinions we desperately seek for. We just ask others so that we involve another person to share the consequential burden.
"Follow your heart" should be the default advice to save time.

Rather than sharing the consequencial burden, I prefer to think of it as validating my poor decision making by out-sourcing the problem

If someone i consider sane, see sense in my madness, then I'm on the right track
