I've noticed how many social media takes are disingenuous. The implications are not ambiguous, but obvious; yet publishers will deny that, ignore counterarguments, and only engage with the responses that affirm their narrative.
Less about discourse, more about curating echo chambers.

And it's right, that they’re indeed under no obligation to respond to dissent, but the selective response proves one thing, that it wasn't about open dialogue but trying to reinforce bias, and prioritize narrative over truth-seeking.
