“Cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, are decentralised by design. They operate on open, permissionless networks, free from direct government control. CBDCS, by contrast, are digital versions of a nation's fiat currency, issued and fully controlled by its central bank. One offers financial independence; the other extends state oversight.

Conflating the two only plays into regulatory narratives that seek to lump all digital assets under the same restrictive rules.”

One thing I’ve realized is that most advice and information seems to matter until the actual moment of decision which isn't always calm and perfect. Then all that information flies out the window, and you decide impulsively based on who you are or who you’ve become.

Having a lot of information doesn’t really help. What helps is improving yourself, so that even on impulse, you’re still making the right decisions.

I agree, when money is the only motivator, discipline eventually runs out. Along the way, you may feel pushed to do less or more depending on what "enough" money looks like to you at that moment. And since output can't (and shouldn't) be measured solely by your financial temperature, it's important to find another reason for why you do what you do.

Purpose lasts longer than your paycheck.

BEYOND THE SHADOW OF REJECTION

To live and love unsparingly means embracing a kind of vulnerability that the world mistakes for desperation. Even then, I am not afraid to be called desperate, I don’t fear that my love will be taken advantage of, for the peace and joy of loving comes from the knowing that I have loved fully and there is no lingering regret over what I should have given.

Yes, I choose to double text, to show my affection loudly, to congratulate others, and to send the wishes that need to be sent. I forgive as soon as I am able and strive to see the best in others even when I am given very little to work with, because I remember that "we love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:19).
This is how I have been loved by Love Himself, who shows up at every moment of my day and loves me with everything He has, even the parts of myself I seem to reject. He did not consider His own holiness a hinderance to embracing my sinful self.

Maybe love will never be practical, and that is okay.
I live everyday trying to survive between walls that feel like they are drawing in, waiting to crush me if I pause even for a moment.

And then, romance becomes that small wing that lifts me out of them and allows me watch my heaviness from above.
Escape into a space that feels open, for a while, even if I know I will return to the tight, demanding reality of a world that feels too small.

Sometimes I wish I could stay in that place a little longer, that land of fantasy where nothing really makes sense, yet life feels more precious.
In that place, something awakens in me, something no darkness can put out.

Sometimes the saviour complex is birthed from pride. You think you are the only one who has the power and the willingness to help, to stand by everyone else, and the entire world is only receiving from you and using you without giving.
You become so obsessed with what you have to do and what you have done for others that you don’t even take time to appreciate what others have done for you.

It is what makes you feel lonely even when you are surrounded by love, empty even when everyone is pouring into you.

The hacking of Kenya’s State House, Interior, and other government websites shows exactly why the digital ID system is risky.
If people can break into top gov't sites and post extremist messages, what happens when these systems hold our personal details?

This is why, before governments push for digital IDs, they must first make sure their systems are strong and secure and think carefully before creating one central pool of personal data as this is the dream of every hacker. #DigitalID #Kenya

If you’re still worried about what people expect or think of you, you’re slowing down your own growth. Missing shots at life.

I found love.❤️
He has given me more than anyone ever will. His life too. He didn't wait to catch a grenade that may never be thrown, He instead carried a cross Himself, found death where it hid and confronted it. For me, guys, for me!!!🤭
Even in death, He was still fighting, for me. He couldn't leave me here, alone and scared, He returned from Death. Death may part many, but not me and Mine. ❤️
He said ours is for eternity, not even the passing of this life will take with it what we have.
He gave me a part of His life, the kind that kills death.
When He said that even if I lay my bed in hell, He’d be there, I sank into depths of love I never knew existed. There’s no life where I exist without Him. A match made in heaven, before I was formed in my mother’s womb.❤️

You know, i was just wondering, for feminists who are so invested in the “men and women are equal” rhetoric, who get offended when given tasks that match physical strength...
When trans men join women’s sports, which side are you on?
Do you applaud them for “seeing you as equals” and stand against the women you claim to fight for or do you fight to keep them out and admit that men and women aren’t actually equal after all?
